OUR MINISTRIES

god
glorifying

At Yireh Church, we want each of our services to be completely focused on glorifying God. We believe in the Holy Spirit and His rich and wondrous anointing and moreover, the indescribable power in worship. We want to be good worshippers - that is, as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to Him.

gospel
proclamation

There is true power in the proclaiming the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

"Take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word (rhema) of God" - Ephesians 6:17.

In hearing the words of Holy-Spirit inspired Word, we receive spiritual power, strength and wisdom.

discipleship
training

As Apostle Paul uses the metaphor of an athlete in training when describing the pursuit of holiness, we at Yireh Church strive to do the same by giving direct mentorship, edifying one another in regular prayer. In doing so, we create a community of genuine personal accountability, safety, freedom and love.

spiritual
vision

"And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray you, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha." - 2 Kings 6:17

As Christians living in a polarized, degenerate and highly divisive world, this is a time to be spiritually awake. We must have the spiritual vision and discernment to know God's will not just in our church context but also our workplace, business, relationships, and families.

powerful
prayer life

How can a Christ-follower fend off all temptations and spiritual attack if they do not pray? At Yireh, we strive to train everyone to be equipped for the spiritual warfare that is happening at all times: through prayer.

Marriage Preparation

"Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh." - Genesis 2:24

Two individuals coming together to become one can be a stressful and bewildering experience. In the haze of love, important issues and questions that need to be discussed before marriage may not come up. Do not worry! Our experienced leaders are ready to help facilitate those conversations and counsel couples who are thinking of marriage and those ready to make the big step. Marriage is a beautiful blessing from the Lord. However, when not prepared with the right attitude and tools, it may not seem so when tribulations come. Let our leaders help you pursue a Christ-centered marriage.

"With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."

- Ephesians 4:2-3

Spiritual Training

At Yireh, we take spiritual training seriously. Come prepared to be involved in corporate prayer, mountain prayer, personal prayer, learning the word of God, applying his word in your daily life and fasting regularly.

We strive for the things unseen: "as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal." - 2 Cor 4:18.

Mission Trips

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

- Matthew 24:19-20

The last commandment of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, was to go out and make disciples of all nations. In pursuit of that commandment, we have bi-yearly missions to Mexico to help a missionary our church has sent out to obey his Great Commission. The mission trips are edifying to everyone involved as we seek and witness God's kingdom expansion in not only Mexico as a country but also in the individual hearts of the lost souls in Mexico. We pray that these experiences will inspire us to see that we have all been called to become a missionary in our community, and no one is too young or too old to answer Jesus' call.
